Composition VII is an abstract painting by the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Like almost all of Kandinksky's works, it

contains an extremely haphazard collection of lines, colour and shade. The artist himself quoted that this is one of his most complex and time consuming works. It was painted in 1913, a year full of works painted by Kandinsky. It sits in the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow.
